Keeping our heritage alive.

Engaging the community in the preservation, education, and celebration of our heritage.

Dig Deeper

Cedar Falls History

The city of Cedar Falls grew up from the Cedar River—with early water-powered industry and a crisscross of railroads driving its growth.

The Historical Society

For over 55 years, dedicated volunteers, members, and local citizens have helped build a historical society to preserve and celebrate Cedar Falls’ rich heritage.
